Go with a tropical planted biotope tank, where one sets up a tank that closely resembles the natural habitat of the fish you are going to keep.You will have the challenge of not only keeping fish but also plants.
If you have a lot of time and some extra money on your hands and are looking for a challenge, set up a tropical salt water tank. It can be a very fun hobby.
