How do I make the ammonia level go lower when I don't have a filtered tank? and other goldfish questions?

Question:

and dont tell me im stupid for not getting a filtered tank or something

Answers:

to change the water you can do it every other day but if you are really determined and you did do some reaserch i guess you know you goldfish needs 20 gallons of water per fish if not even close if you have them in a bowl they will die .if you do a water change only do a 20-30 percnct water change never 100% and don't take the fish out for the water change you'll stress them out .getting out poop and uneaten food is only possibel with a siphon or a aquarium vaccume as for the letting the water set in the sun it only takes away chlorine not hevy metals water conditioner is better and they don't ask you to use alot of it. your fish keeping will be a million times esier if you can get a filter you can get benificial bacteria that distoyes your ammonia but i'm guessing you can't get one because of the noise some don't make alot of noise if the waterfall isn't far away from the water level .also you can lower ammonia with an amonnia detox (it's my preffered amonnia destroyer it's from tetra) if you still can't get a filter get an air pump .i hoped i helped

are you alowed to get a 1 gallon tank kit? they are tiny tanks, only as big as your fish bowl, and come with a filter and light. but it you can only have a bowl your 10% water change plan is good.

you really need to get a filtered tank...the goldfish will not live very long with the way you have them now....

Dechlor and declor only. No water "conditioner". Dechlor neutralizes the chlorine and that's all you need. Conditioner can kill fish because it often swings the pH and adds extra chemicals the fish don't need to the water.
